Waseem’s primary research area is Information Behaviour and through that lens he explores topics such as information and extremism, properties of information and well-being, and information needs. His research interests also include the role of libraries and other information agencies in promoting well-being and early literacy skills and understanding the economic contribution of libraries. He also has an interest in quantitative methodological approaches and used a wide range of analytical techniques in his research.
