Vi’s research interests are interdisciplinary, focusing on Human-Computer Interaction, Library and Information Management, Digital Ethics, Education, and Employability. For many years, Vi has worked diligently on research that promotes social integration, sustainability, inclusion, and equality. Currently, her specific research interests include digital literacy education for disadvantaged communities in developing countries to improve living standards. Based on her teaching experience, Vi is also interested in investigating the impact of cultural-social factors affecting data practices, as well as exploring the impacts of emerging technologies like generative AI on open education.
