Helen’s cross-subjects academic background (IT in education, library sciences and classical literature) and her work experience have expanded her research. Her research interest is in the use of IT tools to develop multi-literacies skills of library users in digital humanities, as well as digitization and information architecture. Her recent research projects relate to the use of IT tools (VR, drones and Wiki), inquiry-based learning and collaborating (collaborative teaching and collaborative learning) with library collections/extension activities to solve real-world problems and develop the multi-literacies skills of students in universities and secondary schools in Hong Kong and Japan.
