With a background in animal health information services, Niloo’s research explores how humans and animals shape shared understanding through loving, living, and learning together. Her work advances the multispecies movement in information studies. Niloo has collaborated with international associations at the intersection of human-information and human-animal interactions, including the Association for Veterinary Informatics (AVI), the European Veterinary Libraries Group, and the Symposium on Exploring Multispecies Relations. She is interested in qualitative and creative research methods, including walking and sensing interviews, photo diaries, participatory videos, and draw-and-write techniques.
